The Story of Cosmetics

topics: Beauty
by Kristen Suzanne

This is a great little video talking about the toxins in cosmetics and what it can mean for you and the environment. It’s an important topic that needs more attention in my opinion.

For details about beauty products I like and use that are earth and animal friendly, check out this Kristen’s Raw post.

Thanks so much for the link. Hayden enjoyed watching the cartoons that went along with it. I can't believe she is almost one year old already. Anyway, I'm so glad I don't use a ton of products (mommies don't always have time for that) and that the ones I do use are better choices (love my Pangea Organics). Also, I find that one of the best things about eating healthy is that you really don't need a lot of these products. You're naturally beautiful (yes, I'm talking to you)! :-)

Love that Hayden enjoyed it. That's so cute! :)

Hi Kristen! I love the blogs, been following you for a few years now so I really feel like I 'know' you and your family. Congrats on Kamea! I am anxious to hear your birth story, as I think all your readers are, but of course we understand that there are more important things to do right now! I do want to say however, please don't be embarassed or ashamed to share your story with us, even if it wasn't the perfect home birth you were planning or hoping for. We all accept you and your beautiful baby, no judgments from me, but it would be nice to know what happened since you kept us so well-updated throughout the pregnancy! (I guess that's the downside of blogging about personal stuff – we all feel like we are family, we deserve to know, when really we are just strangers reading about your life!!)

Lol – there is nothing stopping me from posting but time and energy.
It seems kind of long… I started it and work on it every few days,
but I have other work projects that must be attended to after Kamea
and sleep :) It's quite a good story if I say so myself. I learned a
    lot.

I suspect I'll have it up within another month.

I love your blog and I love the way , you are guiding mummies. If the mummies are well aware of all natural and organic ways and things  in life, the same will be forwarded to next generation. I love the way you present every point in all your post , whether it is about recycling or babies food.
